My Why...
I have seen to many instructors that teach improper techniques and that scares me. I've spent over a decade and 1,000's of hours learning and practicing self defense. My goal is to give back and help people learn proper techniques for their skill level. I addition I want to help people feel their worth and feel that they are empowered to do anything they put their mind to. I want to make sure people have a fun and memorable experience.
David is a black belt in Brazilian jiu Jitsu and an owner at Ethos Martial Arts in Queen Creek, AZ. Ethos has over 250 students from young kids to well-seasoned adults. David has over a decade of martial arts and self-defense training experience. He has competed in Fight2Win, Naga, Grapplers Quest, Gran Canyon State Open, DAN Tournament, AZ Masters, and several other competitions. David has also spent 20 years in sales and leadership for companies from startup to publicly traded companies. He has a passion for making sure people are taught proper self defense techniques and using those skills to empower people to be their best.
